Ball Joints

End dragging or kinked flex hose connections on cutter heads and other moving equipment by installing a Ball Joint. The base swivels a full 360 degrees, letting the hose move freely above the machine while airflow stays steady. It's the simple fix for flex hose that keeps binding, sagging, or wearing out where your equipment moves, and it pairs well with swivel joints for even greater range of motion.

Rolled-lip end that connects to Quick Clamp Clamp-Together Duct (CTD) using quick clamps and gaskets, while the hose side connects in minutes with a simple worm clamp (not included). Fast to set up, easy to adjust, and quick to take apart for cleaning or relocation.

Features

  • Rolled-lip end connects to Quick Clamp Clamp-Together Duct (CTD). The hose side uses a worm clamp (not included).
  • 360-degree swivel base lets flex hose move freely with your equipment
  • Pairs well with swivel joints for added range of motion

Clamp Together Rolled Lip Hose Adapter

Clamp together rolled lip hose adaptors for transition points. Hose adapters are used to connect the duct to flex hose. One end of the adapter is typically rolled-lip and the other end is a raw end (approximately the size of the inside diameter, ID, of the hose) with an expanded bead knurled onto the adapter end—allowing 2" of adjustability. A worm clamp is used to tighten the hose to the adapter and the expanded bead keeps it from sliding off.

Double Branches | Rolled Lip Connection Type

Rolled lip double branch fittings combines two branch takeoffs into a single component, tapping two secondary runs into the main line at once. This consolidates what would otherwise require two separate branch fittings into one connection point, saving install time and reducing the number of joints in the system. Available in galvanized and stainless steel. Standard 18 gauge.

Flange Adapters

Flange Adapters let you switch between flanged duct and clamp-together duct in one fitting. A flange on one end bolts to your existing flanged duct, equipment ports, or any component with a companion flange, while the other end drops straight into your clamp-together run. It's the bridge between two duct systems, letting you tie modern ductwork into existing flanged lines without reworking the whole system.

Features

  • Rolled-lip end connects to Quick Clamp Clamp-Together Duct (CTD)
  • Galvanized steel (24 ga 3-inch, 22 ga 4–12-inch, 20 ga 14–18-inch)
  • Switches between flanged duct and clamp-together duct
  • Installs quickly on the clamp-together side, bolts securely on the flange side
  • Flange end bolts to flanged duct, equipment, or components

Flex Hose

PROTAPE® PUR 330 AS is a lightweight, microbe-resistant, flame-retardant flex hose built for conveying gases along with abrasive dust, powders, and fibers. Constructed from ester-polyurethane reinforced with a spring steel wire helix, it's highly flexible and compressible at a 3:1 ratio, making it easy to route around equipment and through tight runs. Its permanently antistatic wall (in accordance with ISO 8031) makes it a dependable choice for explosion-hazard areas and static-sensitive operations.

This versatile hose suits extraction systems, dust collection and filtration equipment, oil mist extraction, and extraction arms. It's commonly used on printed circuit board drilling machines, vapor return lines, paint and spray mist extraction, textile fiber extraction, and ventilation systems for barns, clean rooms, and semiconductor production. It also performs well in surface-prep operations such as shot blasting, shipyard work, stripping, floor preparation, and grinding, and can serve as an exterior protective hose in heating applications.

Features

  • Ester-polyurethane reinforced with spring steel wire
  • Lightweight, highly flexible, and compressible 3:1
  • Permanently antistatic wall in accordance with ISO 8031
  • Flame retardant, UL94-HB and DIN 4102-B1 rated
  • Good resistance to oil, gasoline, and chemicals; microbe- and abrasion-resistant
  • Working pressure: 1.958 psi; vacuum rating: 0.591-inch Hg
  • Wall: 0.025-inch; bend radius: 6.378-inch
  • Temperature range: -40°F to 195°F, and short-term to 255°F

Floor Sweeps

Floor Sweeps remove debris from the shop floor wherever cleanup is needed. Just open the double-hinged door and sweep shop debris away. When you're done, the dust collection system's vacuum holds the door tightly closed to prevent system pressure loss. An integral “foot-push” tab allows hands-free operation, so you can keep sweeping while the door opens for you. Commonly known as a Floor Hood or Dust Nozzle, it's an easy addition to any dust collection setup.

Features

  • Double-hinged floor-level door held shut by system vacuum
  • Integral “foot-push” tab for hands-free operation
  • Rolled-lip ends connect to Quick Clamp Clamp-Together Duct (CTD)
  • 18-gauge galvanized steel
  • Tool-free clamp-together connection; no rivets, screws, or tape needed

Hose Adapters

Hose Adapters connect your ductwork to flexible hose in dust, mist, and fume collection systems. One end is a raw end sized to the inside diameter (ID) of your hose, with an expanded bead knurled onto the adapter. That bead keeps the hose from sliding off and gives you roughly 2 inches of adjustability to fine-tune the fit. It's a fast, reliable way to transition from rigid duct to flex hose, and just as easy to take apart for cleaning or relocation.

Features

  • Rolled-lip end connects to Quick Clamp Clamp-Together Duct (CTD)
  • Worm clamp secures the hose (not included)
  • 24-gauge in 3-inch, 22-gauge in larger sizes
  • Approximately 2 inches of adjustability on the hose end

Segmented Elbows

Segmented, or gored, Elbows deliver smooth, sweeping directional changes for larger-diameter dust collection and ventilation lines. Built with a 1.5D centerline radius (the radius equals 1.5 times the duct diameter), they create a gradual turn that keeps airflow moving efficiently and reduces abrasion from high-velocity chips and dust, making them ideal for main lines and larger drops.

Route your system, change direction, or reconfigure a run in seconds, and just as easily take it apart for cleaning or relocation.

Stitch-Welded Elbows

Stitch-Welded Elbows deliver tight, precise directional changes for dust collection and ventilation lines. Each fitting is pressed from two metal half-shells and joined by a stitch weld down the seam, creating a factory-sealed turn that holds up in demanding systems. Built with a 1.5D centerline radius (the radius equals 1.5 times the duct diameter), making them ideal for main lines and larger drops.

Route ductwork around obstacles, change direction, or reconfigure a run in seconds, and just as easily take it apart for cleaning or relocation.

Features

T Branches | Rolled Lip Connection Type | Clamp Together

T branches are a 90° branch fitting that taps a secondary run directly perpendicular to the main line, forming a T-shaped junction. The sharp 90° takeoff is straightforward to install in tight layouts but creates more airflow turbulence at the junction than an angled branch, so transport velocity should be verified at the takeoff point. Available in galvanized and stainless steel. Standard 18 gauge.

Y Branches | Wye Branch | Rolled Lip Connection Type | Clamp Together

Y branches (also known as wye branch) tap a secondary run into the main line at an angled (typically 30°–45°) takeoff rather than a sharp 90°. The gentler angle reduces turbulence and pressure loss at the junction compared to a T branch, making it the preferred choice where airflow efficiency through the takeoff matters. Available in galvanized and stainless steel. Standard 18 gauge.
